take Lessons?
Why Not! The worst thing that could happen is for you to improve your swing
and your knowledge of the game. I watch more people hit balls incorrectly
and groove bad habits rather than take a lesson and become
more confident with each practice session and enjoy their game more. My
approach is to work with the student's individual needs taking into consideration
all factors such as age, physical condition and time available.
What is a Video Lesson?
The video TV replay allows you to see your swing both in regular speed,
slow motion and to stop your motion just at the trouble spots. It is merely
a better way to help you understand your problem and to advance by actually
seeing the problem. By capturing the golf lesson on video, it becomes
a detailed analyzation of your problems and the explanation of their origin,
including how and what corrections can be made for immediate and steady
improvements at any level: beginner, novice, intermediate, advanced or
professional. We use state of the art video TV taping and replay equipment
along with video printers to single out the most important areas that
need to be worked on and to show changes and improvements. In addition,
practice aids are used to assist in understanding and coaching you to
more consistent ball striking. With your video, all analyzation, instruction,
corrections and discussions are taped for your personal recall for years
to come.
Due to the factors of age, physical condition and past experiences along
with personal goals and priorities, each student has a personal biographical
file kept on them. All information along with your address and email address
is logged into our computer for quick game assistance if needed.
What can the Golf Studio offer me?
As a world renowned professional golf trick shot artist, Mike travels
the country throughout the year, always keeping his clients and students
informed of his travels and shows when in their immediate area. He also
publishes newsletters that include information on equipment, golf tips
and travel deals.
Mike hosts clinics, seminars, lectures, schools and travel trips through
the Golf Studio. We also offer schools in Germany, Switzerland, Austria
and Italy, which are arranged during the summer months. As you can see,
the many services that are offered are all part of the Mike Calbot Golf
Studio amenities which along with Mike's 36 years of teaching experience,
make the golf studio very unique.
